The California Energy Commission (CEC) has approved a new $1.4bn plan to support the introduction of zero-emission mobility infrastructure and manufacturing with hydrogen at the forefront of this development.
The CEC additionally said that the $1.4bn funding will support California in achieving its electric vehicle charging and hydrogen refuelling targets by 2025 as the state targets becoming a hub for hydrogen.
