Bus manufacturer orders further 62 hydrogen fuel cell engines from Ballard

Polish bus manufacturer Solaris has ordered a further 62 hydrogen fuel cell engines from Ballard Power Systems to power more zero-emission buses.

Set to power buses in Germany and Poland, the order follows on from multiple purchase agreements for 177 fuel cell modules from Ballard announced in October (2023), taking Solaris’ total order volume close to 350 this year.
