Bramble Energy has developed an optimised fuel cell stack assembly capable of producing up to 2,000 50kW systems per year.
The £1.8m ($2.2m) project received funding from the Advanced Propulsion Centre’s (APC) Scale-up Readiness Validation Programme (SuRV), as part of the Automotive Transformation Fund in 2022.
At Bramble’s HQ and Hydrogen Innovation Hub in Crawley, the UK, they simplified the fuel cell stack assembly process through the design of its Printed Circuit Board Fuel Cell (PCBFC™), which includes integrated membrane electrode assembly into unitised PCB modules.
