bp has today (Nov 29) unveiled plans for landmark project that could produce up to 500MW of green hydrogen in Teesside, UK, by 2030.
To be developed in multiple stages, the plant, dubbed HyGreen Teesside, will initially target 60MW of green hydrogen production by 2025 before scaling up.
The announcement follows news of bp’s blue hydrogen production facility which targets 1GW of hydrogen production by 2030.
