Artificial Intelligence company Empati wants to explore the feasibility of using distributed production of green hydrogen to fuel vehicle fleets.
The US-based company on Wednesday (July 28) said it had commissioned Black & Veatch to carry out the work in the form of a study.
Within this, Black & Veatch will provide an economical, logistical and technical assessment of onsite, on-demand hydrogen production as a fuel for fleet operators.
On the report, Jonathan Cristiani, Advanced Power Fuels Engineer, Black & Veatch, said, “We will establish the technical requirements and the economic model for distributed renewable generation to power small-scale on-site hydrogen production.
