Ballard Power Systems has hit a significant milestone as the group revealed today (Oct 5) that its proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cells have powered vehicles more than 100 million kilometers on the roads globally.
This is a significant figure as, in just 12 months, Ballard has more than doubled its on-road kilometers in service and, with the rate at which it is growing, it highlights the rapid growth of the fuel cell industry in mobility.
