A new hydrogen station was officially inauguarted today in Bad Homburg, bringing the total number of stations in Germany to 76.
Located at the Hessol filling station, Ober-Eschbacher-Strasse 142, the hydrogen station was opened by H2 Mobility Deutschland and Air Liquide.
Bad Homburg was awarded funding for the construction of the station in 2018 during H2 Mobility’s second call for locations.
Many citizens and companies had expressed their support for hydrogen as a fuel and made this clear with more than 70 statements of intent to purchase fuel cell electric vehicles, H2 Mobility said.
