Avina Clean Hydrogen has broken ground on its green hydrogen production and refuelling facility in southern California, the US.
The facility is expected to produce up to 1,400 tonnes of compressed hydrogen per year once operational to serve the state’s transportation industry. The US-based firm secured the necessary permits to begin construction in September.

The City of Vernon and FASTECH have supported Avina in the development, construction and commissioning of the facility – located just 10 miles from the Port of Long Beach.
