AVANGRID, member of Iberdrola Group and Sempra Infrastructure have revealed intentions to develop green hydrogen and ammonia projects in the US.
The companies announced they had entered into a heads of agreement (HOA) for the potential joint development of renewables-powered green hydrogen and ammonia projects based in the US.
H2 View understands, under the HOA framework, AVANGRID and Sempra will identify, appraise, and potentially develop large-scale green hydrogen projects to meet the energy and decarbonisation needs of customers in the US and internationally.
