Spanish energy company Avalon Renovables wants to attract €8bn ($8.3bn) of investment for green hydrogen and its derivatives in the Andalusian region.
The Madrid-based company unveiled its plans at the Green Hydrogen Congress in Huelva, Spain, announcing its goal to create over 10,000 jobs in the region by 2030.
Whilst not much has been revealed about the project, H2 View understands that Avalon plans to begin the production of hydrogen-based methanol and sustainable aviation fuels (SAFs) in 2028.
