Small modular electrolyser solutions may help overcome green hydrogen cost and adoption barriers, according to a Rotork whitepaper.
More flexible and cost-effective solutions – like modularised electrolysers – are needed to scale production and develop offtake agreements while larger-scale projects lag.
The paper, hosted on h2-view.com, says that smaller-scale and modular routes could become more common, as companies look to spread the cost of adoption – with the technology being easier to transport, construct and install than large-scale plants.
