A landmark green energy hub is set to be developed in Victoria, Australia, as a result of a new partnership between Port Anthony Renewables and CAC-H2 that will both build and commission a waste woody biomass gasification system for green hydrogen and ammonia production.
Formalising a multi-million-dollar joint venture for the effort today (Oct 11), the duo said they hope to make Port Anthony Renewables one of the first in Australia to produce a commercial amount of green hydrogen, and at a competitive price.
The initial target for hydrogen production is three-tonnes-per-day, which will then be distributed domestically. Hydrogen production can later be upscaled. To do this, the duo have formed a new joint venture, titled Hydrogen Plus.
