Australia’s Hazer Group has achieved over 240 hours of continuous stable operation of its methane pyrolysis hydrogen and graphite production technology.
The firm said the operation at its demonstration plant in Perth showed operational reliability with a process uptime above its initial targets.
Having first started hydrogen and graphite production in February this year, Hazer is now optimising its process to produce “commercially representative graphite,” which will undergo quality checks before distribution for large-scale testing and analysis.
