Mallee Regional Innovation Centre (MRIC) today (8th April) announced it has been selected to lead a hydrogen cluster in the North West of Victoria in Australia.
The National Energy Resources Australia (NERA) announced funding to develop an Australian network of hydrogen clusters in January, with the goal of putting Australia on the global map for hydrogen technology and expertise.
The national cluster will establish a global identity and a recognised brand for Australian hydrogen technology and expertise. It will also aid the development of the hydrogen supply chain, reduce overlaps and identify gaps in the development, deployment, and commercialisation of new hydrogen-focused technologies.
