An Australian hydrogen engine injection company has secured a $10m deal to supply its dual-fuel injection kits across Africa.
Alpha H2 says its conversion kits can reduce fossil fuel usage by up to 20% in existing engines using technology to produce hydrogen on board vehicles which is then mixed with traditional fossil fuels.
The company has claimed test results showed a 20% reduction in fuel use, a 13% reduction in carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions and a 16% reduction in “hydrocarbon emissions.”
