Australia and the UK have today (July 29) inked an agreement to make low emissions technologies, such as clean hydrogen and carbon capture, globally scalable and commercially viable.
Part of an effort to increase competitiveness of industry, reduce emissions and support economic growth, the deal will see the countries focus on research and development across six key clean technologies.
Clean hydrogen, carbon capture and use (CCU), carbon capture and storage (CCS), small modular reactors including advanced nuclear designs and enabling technologies, low emissions materials and sail carbon measurement are the six chosen know-hows in focus.
