Bluescope has entered into a new agreement with Shell that aims to develop both a hydrogen hub concept and implement hydrogen technologies into a steelworks site in Illawarra, Australia.
Revealed today (Dec 7), the scope of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) will support the growing hydrogen community in Illawarra with the hydrogen hub set to support transitioning companies whereas the steelworks site will showcase the potential for hydrogen in green steel production.
