Aussie firm granted Permit to Drill for natural hydrogen in Kansas

HyTerra has received a Permit to Drill for natural hydrogen and helium at well site in Kansas, US.

Granted by the Kansas Corporation Commission (KCC), the permit will allow HyTerra to drill at its Nemaha Project site, located around 200m north of a well drilled in 2009 which reported up to 92% hydrogen and up to 3% helium.

Avon McIntyre, Executive Director of Australian-based HyTerra, said the permit was a “crucial milestone.”
