On its path to delivering its 400MW green hydrogen and ammonia projects in Paraguay, ATOME has today (July 28) announced it has entered its first front end engineering design (FEED) contract for the first phase of its 60MW Villeta project facility.
Signed with Paraguayan company, Concret-Mix, the FEED covers civil and electrochemical works for the adaptation of an ANDE substation, which ATOME says will determine the design and technical package used for procurement and further engineering by the chosen Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) contractor.
H2 View understands Concret-Mix originally constructed the substation now operated by the state owned national electricity company, ANDE. ATOME say the contract includes soil studies, topography and a range of electrical/electrochemical equipment cost estimation and a work timetable.
