The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities has awarded Atlantic Shores Offshore Wind a certification that allows the group to develop a 1,509.6MW wind energy project for green hydrogen production.
With the approval of the 1,509.6MW wind energy project, SJI plans to continue progress in developing the green hydrogen pilot program.
Back in December 2020, SJI revealed a partnership with Atlantic Shores to collaborate on a green hydrogen pilot program that will research, monitor and analyse the deployment of hydrogen technology and natural gas blending in New Jersey.
