Apex Energy has inaugurated a green hydrogen production plant in Laage, Germany that will supply electricity and heating to its headquarters – and it’s equipped with McPhy technology.
The French hydrogen production and distribution equipment supplier today said it had delivered and installed a 2MW electrolysis platform, McLyzer 400-30, which will produce more than 300 tonnes of green hydrogen per year.
McPhy said this project is part of the 41MW of high-power electrolysis capacity supplied by the company and illustrates the growing interest of manufacturers who are making a strategic shift towards low carbon energy.
Inaugurated on 12th June, the project is fully in line with the Hydrogen National Plan developed by the German government.
