ANGI begins construction on hydrogen refuelling test facility at headquarters

ANGI Energy Systems has broken ground on its US hydrogen refuelling test facility in Janesville, Wisconsin.

The $4m project is located at ANGI’s headquarters and expected to have completed construction by July 2024. Once commissioned and validated it will potentially be used by third-party companies from early 2026.

A statement released by ANGI has said, “the station will play a pivotal role in the testing and validation of hydrogen refuelling station systems and components – including functional testing of globally standardised SAE J2601 refuelling protocols for gaseous hydrogen.”

The facility has been developed in partnership with specialist contractor FASTECH, who will now support an intensive three-month construction programme.
