The Hydrogen Council’s latest Hydrogen Insights report delivered some much-needed positivity for the industry. A significant increase in final investment decisions (FIDs) and maturing developments shone through.
Nonetheless, it also brings an equally needed sense of reality. An enormous $335bn financing gap ahead of 2030 targets remains; industry-specific and wider headwinds stifle progress, and delays in regulations keep developers in limbo.
