Amara Raja inaugurates India’s first hydrogen refuelling station

Amara Raja Infra has unveiled India’s “first” hydrogen refuelling station in Leh, Ladakh, marking a significant milestone in supporting NTPC’s fuel cell-powered bus initiative.

H2 View understands that the facility will be capable of distributing 80kg of green hydrogen per day. It has been completed after two years of development, experiencing “multiple challenges” according to the Amra Raja Group company.

“Here’s to taking a significant step towards advancing India’s green mobility goals and a sustainable future powered by Amara Raja,” the Indian company wrote on LinkedIn.
