Albert Weber plans merger with CellForm

Albert Weber has taken a major stake in German bipolar plate manufacturer CellForm, with plans to complete a merger to commercialise CellForm’s technology for hydrogen applications.

The two plan to invest double-digit millions to establish the mass production of bipolar plates as CellForm aims to become of the leading suppliers for the crucial component in fuel cells, with series production and future R&D set to take place at Albert Weber’s German facilities.

By 2030, CellForm intends to achieve three-digit million revenues, with plans to substantially increase its number of employees.
