Speaking at day two of the Airbus Summit 2021, Guillaume Faury, CEO of Airbus, reiterated that the aerospace giant remains committed to using hydrogen aviation technology by 2035.
When questioned on whether 2035 still remains a realistic date despite the challenges and obstacles associated with hydrogen, Faury confidently said, “The answer is clearly yes. It’s very realistic to believe that 2035 is a realistic date for the entry into service of hydrogen planes.”
