Air Products on Tuesday (April 25) revealed plans for “the first” commercial-scale hydrogen refuelling station in Edmonton, Alberta.
Set to be built near the company’s Net Zero hydrogen energy complex, which is currently under construction, the station is being supported in part by $1m ($0.73m) in funding from National Resources Canada’s Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program.
Scheduled for opening in early 2025, the company’s first Canadian hydrogen refuelling station will have capacity for up to six tonnes of hydrogen per day.
