Air Products and Chinese state-owned industry group Chengzhi Shareholding have, through a joint venture, launched a commercial-scale hydrogen refuelling station in Changshu city, Jiangsu province, to fuel city buses and heavy-duty trucks.
Under the service contracts, the station will refuel hydrogen trucks from various multinational and domestic companies including Budweiser, Um China, Nestle China and JD Logistics to trial zero-emission logistics operations.
Included among the vehicles to benefit from the refuelling station, is a 49-tonne heavy-duty fuel cell truck operated by Budweiser running between Nantong and Suzhou in east China which recently recorded over 10,000km.
