Air Liquide stays measured on clean hydrogen as market realities set in

Air Liquide welcomes the wave of reality crashing over clean hydrogen as it targets industrial decarbonisation opportunities.

That was the message from CEO François Jackow during the French industrial gas major’s 2024 results, where it reported net profits of €3.3bn ($3.45bn).

Despite ramping up investments in clean hydrogen over the past 12 months, Jackow told investors the company was betting on selected sectors where hydrogen can play a key decarbonising role.
