Air Liquide has issued a new €500m ($541m) green bond to fund its energy transition projects including low-carbon hydrogen, carbon capture and low-carbon air gases.
The industrial gas giant said the “significantly oversubscribed” transaction by investors raised the firm €500m with a 10-year maturity at a yield of 3.466%.
The company said it intended to use the proceeds to finance or refinance “flagship energy transition and sustainable projects, in particular in low-carbon hydrogen, carbon capture and low-carbon air gases.”
