Air Liquide Japan has opened the first hydrogen station in Saitama Prefecture, Japan.
Located in Tokorozawa Matsugo, the station was created as a joint project between Air Liquide Japan and Japan H2 Mobility.
This is the third station jointly operated by these two companies and it’s also Air Liquide Japan’s first on-site hydrogen station – meaning that hydrogen is both produced and supplied to fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) on site.
The hydrogen refuelling system utilises Air Liquide Japan’s standard-type package and the inclusion of additional pressure accumulators makes this a high-performance station capable of refuelling the large capacity fuel tanks of fuel cell buses.
