Air Liquide and KBR are set to offer low-carbon hydrogen and ammonia solutions based on Autothermal Reforming (ATR) technology.
The partners plan to combine Air Liquide’s expertise in ATR with KBR’s experience in ammonia production technology to contribute to the development of a low-carbon hydrogen market.
When combined with carbon capture technology, Air Liquide says its ATR process can offer higher energy efficiency, lower investments and a simplified single train production process to facilitate a 99% carbon capture rate in highly integrated industrial facilities.
