The Australian Hydrogen Council (AHC) has announced the launch of the Expressions of Interest (EOI) process for a $2bn Hydrogen Headstart programme.
The Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) will lead the programme, which is designed to be a significant policy critical to the future of Australia’s hydrogen industry.
The production programme was previously included in the Federal Government’s package of spending measures within its 2023/24 budget, as the country is targeting 82% renewables by 2030.
