AeroDelft hydrogen aircraft ready for flight

AeroDelft’s hydrogen-powered Phoenix PT aircraft is ready for flight.

The Dutch student team on Saturday (July 31) shared the news, stating that there will first be a flight on batteries, followed by gaseous hydrogen and then finally liquid hydrogen.

In a recent presentation, Prototype Technical Manager Sam Rutten said how for each of the three flight stages the systems have been developed and thoroughly tested.
