The hydrogen fuel cells industry has been handed a boost with Advent Technologies signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with BASF to support mass production of PEM fuel cells.
As part of this new agreement, the two companies will develop and increase the manufacturing scale of advanced fuel cell membranes aimed to for long-term operations under extreme conditions.
This could be vital for the fuel cells being utilised for hydrogen projects and, with more of these membranes available, the fuel cells will become cheaper and be able to supply the rising demand.
