ABL joins AquaVentus consortium to support engineering and marine services

ABL Group has joined the AquaVentus Förderverein project which aims to accelerate the development of European green hydrogen capacity from North Sea offshore wind.

The AquaVentus initiative is expected to use offshore wind farms to power electrolysers installed at sea on an industrial scale, which will have a planned total capacity of 10GW to produce 1 million tonnes of green hydrogen.

Based in Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, France and the UK, ABL will support the AquaVentus consortium with its engineering and marine consultancy services.

In particular, ABL will use its diverse combination of offshore engineering and hydrogen expertise to help the initiatives within pipeline engineering management and discipline engineering services.
