Infinite Blue Energy’s landmark A$350m green hydrogen project has taken a major step forward this week after the green hydrogen specialist partnered with Petrofac for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) design.
The Australian company today said it has inked a deal with international energy services firm Petrofac to progress the Arrowsmith Hydrogen Project through front end engineering design (FEED) to support the final investment decision in early 2021.
Located north of Perth, Australia, the Arrowsmith Hydrogen Project will produce 25 tonnes of green hydrogen per day, once completed, with the ability to be expanded to a global scale plant supporting the export of liquid hydrogen to the Asia-Pacific region.
In a statement, Petrofac said its scope of work will be carried out by its teams in Perth and Woking, England, and includes reviewing the conceptual work carried out on the project to date and the execution of the FEED study.
