H2 Mobility Deutschland and its shareholder Linde has opened a hydrogen station in Herten, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
The station is the fifth in the Ruhr region, marking Germany’s commitment to increasing hydrogen infrastructure.
The station uses Linde’s IC90 compressor, which compresses gaseous hydrogen to up to 900bar in 5 steps.
“H2 Mobility continues the expansion of the hydrogen filling-station network in Germany: this year we are opening a station every two weeks on average; by the end of the year, hydrogen customers will be able to refuel at around 100 stations in Germany,” said Nikolas Iwan, Managing Director at H2Mobility Deutschland GmbH.
