$9m of funding from a wider package of support will be used to enable permitting of hydrogen products and drive forward community engagement, the US Department of Energy (DOE) has confirmed.
The DOE recently announced up to $59m would be used to advance the research, development, demonstration and deployment (RDD&D) of affordable clean hydrogen technologies. Since, the Department has revealed $9m will be used on “community-focused topic areas.”
