According to the California Fuel Cell Partnership (CaFCP), there are currently 8,375 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles that have been sold and leased in the US as of 1st August 2020.
Reporting the monthly numbers on its website for July, the CaFCP said that California has 48 hydrogen fuel cell buses in operation and 41 hydrogen stations open.
Whilst coronavirus has slowed down the station rollout in California, a lot of development activity continues, CaFCP’s Keith Malone told H2 View in a recent interview.
According to the latest CaFCP numbers, California has 18 hydrogen stations, seven fuel cell buses and four fuel cell shuttles in development.
