The Jeju Government has unveiled plans to develop a large-scale green hydrogen production project on the island.
H2 View understands the project is expected to achieve a total annual output of 30MW at two facilities. It’s reported one will generate 10MW through alkaline electrolysis and the other will produce 5MW using polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) electrolysis.
The provincial government announced the project was selected by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy in order to lead the technology development and a demonstration project for clean hydrogen production.
