GP-JOULE has announced today (June 1) it is expanding its hydrogen production capacity, after ordering a 2MW electrolyser from H-TEC SYSTEMS to contribute to a HY.City project.
The PEM electrolyser will be used to produce hydrogen for a refuelling station in Bremerhaven, Germany, being powered by a nearby wind farm. H2 View understands it will be operational by mid-2023.
Set to be built on the Grauwallring Industrial Estate, the hydrogen production plan is part of the HY.City.Bremerhaven hydrogen project, which GP-JOULE initiated.
