Fusion Fuel has made large strides throughout 2022. With a tranche of project announcements in southern Europe, entry to the US market, and plans for a new centralised PEM electrolyser, the future looks busy for the Portuguese company.
To reflect on 2022 and look ahead to its plans for 2023, H2 View spoke with Benjamin Schwarz, Head of Investor Relations at Fusion Fuel.
2022 has been a big year for hydrogen. Tell us about the year from your perspective. What have been your highlights?
2022 was really about cementing Fusion Fuel as a one of the leaders in the emergent green hydrogen sector. While other players have made waves discussing their plans for deploying technology and producing green hydrogen, we have been busy executing, securing over €50m ($52.7m) in grants, commissioning our H2Evora demonstration facility in Portugal, and commencing construction on what will be Spain’s first integrated solar-to-hydrogen refuelling station for Exolum.
