Cardiff University will soon be home to Protium’s first UK-based 100kW electrolyser that will produce green hydrogen to support a variety of initiatives and projects under the name Project Pioneer.
Sourced from energy technology company Enapter, the electrolyser both marks a significant step forward for clean energies at the Welsh university and generating electrolytic hydrogen at scale in the UK.
Christopher Jackson, CEO of Protium, said, “Our Pioneer unit shows Protium’s commitment towards supporting cutting edge technologies in the UK and our willingness to invest in key strategic areas such as Wales.
