Thanks for taking five with H2 View. For our readers that may be unfamiliar, can you tell us a little about Aris Energy Solutions?
Based in Mt. Vernon, New York, Aris is a renewable energy/distributed energy resource firm bringing a host of renewable energy sources to markets, and notably small wind turbines called Remote Power Units – these units present LED lighting powered by a combination of solar PV and microturbines powered by batteries.
On the fuel cell/clean heat and power side, Aris is introducing modular fuel cells to the American market. These units are designed/engineered to foster resiliency – enabling customers to remain powered up during power disturbances or extended outages stemming from weather anomalies, or even pre-emptive utility shutdowns!

Aris Energy Solutions & Partners were awarded a three-year, $2.66m grant for demonstration of market commercialisation of a small capacity SOFC (solid oxide fuel cell). We intend to demonstrate operational safety/efficiencies stemming from our BlueGEN Units in three locations:
