Thanks for taking five with H2 View. What role does V&F play in the hydrogen sector?
Since 1985 V&F has been leading in the development and production of online measuring instruments for gas phase analysis. It is V&F’s aim to help our clients to obtain results and solutions on which basis they can optimise their production processes, improve the quality of their products and minimise pollutants. V&F’s major businesses are in the fields of automotive, food, environmental and medical industries.
Our scientifically developed instruments for online gas analysis focus on industrial customers and their needs for flexible, robust, fast and sensitive measurements. Working on our highly precise devices has also helped us to establish remarkable collaborations within the hydrogen sector.
To give you examples of our recent developments I would like to mention two analyser models. For producers of clean hydrogen used in fuel cell vehicles, we have a solution to analyse the hydrogen purity according to the ISO14687:2019 and the SAE J2719_202003 standards using one single analyser called the HydrogenSense. The HydrogenSense enables the hydrogen manufacturers to supply hydrogen along with a quality certificate of analysis that proves that the fuel going into cars will be of sufficient quality.
