Take 5: An interview with… Dr. Vasilis Gregoriou, Advent Technologies

H2 View sits down with Dr. Vasilis Gregoriou, Chairman and CEO of Advent Technologies, to discuss the company’s high-temperature PEM (HT-PEM) fuel cell solutions.

Thanks for taking five with H2 View. To start, could you tell us a little about some of Advent’s major developments throughout 2023 and into 2024?

Throughout 2023 and into 2024, Advent achieved significant milestones in advancing clean electrification through its proprietary HT-PEM fuel cell technology.

Since March 2023, we have been collaborating with Hyundai Motor Company, aiming to integrate our membrane electrode assembly (MEA) technology into their fuel cell solutions for heavy-duty automotive and stationary applications. In the same month, we inaugurated an R&D and manufacturing facility in Charlestown, MA, and announced a new collaboration with Safran to advance HT-PEM fuel cell technology for the aerospace sector.
