Cummins’ role in the hydrogen industry covers numerous sectors, boasting electrolyser and fuel cell production lines, along with hydrogen internal combustion engines (ICEs).
In 2023, the firm assumed full ownership of Hydrogenics Corporation, further adding key fuel cell and electrolyser technologies to its portfolio. It also launched Accelera by Cummins as its clean energy business to offer these hydrogen products to customers.
Cummins has since collaborated with vehicle original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and fleet operators to ensure a transition to sustainable mobility.
