At the time of Meeks’ appointment to permanent CEO, he said it was a “fresh, new chapter.” When asked what that meant for the company, that new-found focus became all the more apparent.
Meeks said the company’s goals were simple: drive its 200kW single stack fuel cell system to commercial start-up production; commercial progress and proof of its vehicles; and expanding its commercial pipeline. But the latest quarterly loss figures ($60.2m) show implementing change isn’t going to be straightforward.
