James Cropper is no new name. In fact, the company’s roots date back to 1845, starting life as a papermaking company in England’s northwest. However, James Cropper is the new name of a company many H2 View readers will already be familiar with as TFP Hydrogen Products.
Now James Cropper’s Advanced Materials Division, the business, which has become synonymous with PEM electrolyser coatings, catalysts and fuel cell gas diffusion layer (GDL) substrates, is positioning itself to meet the increased demand for hydrogen technologies.
And the move to bring all of its businesses under one brand, was part of an effort to streamline the organisation, leveraging the expertise and capabilities from the various elements across James Cropper.
